East Jefferson General Hospital Broadway in New Orleans announces the lineup of Broadway's biggest hits for the 2013 - 2014 season to be showcased at the newly-renovated Saenger Theatre.

From the creators of "South Park" and winner of nine Tony Awards, THE BOOK OF MORMON will play a limited two-week engagement October 15 through 27 at the Saenger Theatre. The New York Times calls it "the best musical of this century" and Entertainment Weekly says it's "the funniest musical of all time."

The season continues with the musical tale of everlasting love GHOST THE MUSICAL, Broadway's feel-good musical comedy smash SISTER ACT, the classical musical love story based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature film Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, the incredible journey of MEMPHIS, the Tony Award-winning Best Play that TIME Magazine calls "A Landmark Theater Event," War Horse, and "the next best thing to seeing the Beatles," according the Associated Press, RAIN: A TRIBUTE TO THE BEATLES.

THE BOOK OF MORMON
TODAY, October 15 - 27, 2013

Winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, THE BOOK OF MORMON features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. Parker and Stone are the four-time Emmy Award-winning creators of the landmark animated series, "South Park." Tony Award-winner Lopez is co-creator of the long-running hit musical comedy, AVENUE Q. The musical is choreographed by Tony Award-winner Casey Nicholaw (MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE) and is directed by Nicholaw and Parker. THE BOOK OF MORMON contains explicit language. War Horse
