Everyone loves to be scared, but especially when it really has you jumping of our your seats in the theater. Dalton M. Dale, Producing Artistic Director of Big Dreamer Productions is doing just that with his upcoming show, Cross My Heart, Hope to Die which is a 4-D theater horror experience, where the audiences Hear, See, Smell and Feel the bloodcurdling experience firsthand.

Using a brand new technology developed specifically for this theatrical production, Dale will have audiences feeling immersed in the show. Victorian mansions will emerge from the stage floor, demons will materialize, and actors will fly without the use of strings, hydraulics, or absolutely any safety risks. Cross My Heart, Hope to Die will introduce a new way to create theater magic- without any risks to actors or audience. When the evil attacks, it doesn't happen onstage; it happens to you sitting there in the theater. The Audience lives the Story. You are the Hunted.

Dale's production of Cross My Heart, Hope to Die has taken the unusual step to create a contest for playwrights nationwide to partake in the creation of this unique show. Utilizing his concept for the 4-D Horror production, whose supernatural phenomena centers around the famed Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau, Dale is accepting submissions from playwrights throughout the US to write their nightmarish visions.

The national competition will run from September 13 until October 13, 2014. Application and materials are available on the website, www.CrossMyHeartOnBroadway.com starting September 1, 2014. The thirteen semi-finalists chosen will develop their concept under Dale's guidance into a full-length experience. From here, one winner will be chosen to have their show produced first in New Orleans then onto Broadway for the 2016 season.

In a bold move, Dalton Dale has decided to use crowd funding as the vehicle to get his project moving ahead. He sees this as the means to involve everyone who loves theater in the creative process.

So be ready to scream and grab that person next to you, as the 4-D ghouls of Cross My Heart, Hope to Die prepares to come to the Great White Way.

Founded in NYC in 2000 by Dalton M. Dale, Big Dreamer Productions, www.BigDreamerProductions.com is a full service production company specializing in macabre theatrical experiences. Dale became the youngest producer in Off-Broadway history in 2011 as the producer of The Deathly Ones.
