A sword is found, a knight is conflicted, a group of mountain climbers are lost - and singing snowflakes! It's all part of "Music, Drama, Improv!" that will be performed on Wednesday, March 20 at 6:00p.m. at The Wildwood High School, 4300 Pacific Ave. in Wildwood.

Forty fifth and sixth grade students, who are part of the Wildwood After-School Program, have written scenes and rehearsed under the guidance of East Lynne Theater Company's artists-in-residence, Sally Bingham, Rudy Caporaso, and Grace Wright. Although ELTC has been working with these and other students since last October on a variety of theater-related activities, beginning in January, the focus was preparing for their first performance.

All three ELTC artists are experienced in working with students and enjoy sharing their love of theater. Sally Bingham has worked in theater for over 25 years in Chicago and Philadelphia, and, with her husband, Ken Bingham, founded Over the Edge Comedy Troupe. Sally created the after-school program at West Cape May Elementary School where she is currently directing students in "Macbeth" for an April performance. She is also heading up ELTC's seventh annual Student Summer Workshop in June and July.

Rudy Caporaso is a professional actor living in New York City who has performed in numerous Off-Broadway, Philadelphia, regional and London productions. He co-founded and co-artistic directs the Rev Theater Company, and recently co-created the Scranton Shakespeare Festival. Rudy works extensively with outreach theater programs for students throughout the East coast. Grace Wright, a native of South Jersey, has worked with students for Sojourn Production and was part of ELTC's residency program at Glenwood Avenue Elementary School last March. As a performer with ELTC, she was in "He and She" and "The Poe Mysteries."

This exciting After-School program is funded through the Wildwood School District receiving the 21st Century Learning Centers Grant. "Music, Drama, Improv!" is admission-free.
