The Players Guild of Leonia presents Swing! The Musical, directed by Chris Watson with musical direction by Ilya Maslov and Choreography by Tabitha Boulding. Conceived by Paul Kelly, original direction and choreography by Lynne Taylor-Corbett, originally produced by Jerry Zaks.

Utilizing some of the best music from the Swing era, this show contains limited dialogue. Instead, it tells its stories entirely though music and dance. Some of the well-known swing-era hits include "It Don't Mean a Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing), " " In the Mood," " I've Got a Gal in Kalamazoo," " Sing, Sing, Sing," and "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy (of Company B)." It's all about good, old fashioned fun. No guilt-ridden angst here, Swing vibrates with a joyous confidence in life and love. You will leave exhilarated and in a thoroughly happy mood.

Performances May 2nd thru May 18th, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 3pm. The Civil War Drill Hall Theater, 130 Grand Avenue, Leonia.

Tickets $24/$20 seniors and students. www.leoniaplayers.org, 201-947-9606 for information and reservations.
