SHREK's Ben Crawford Guests at Broadway at Blend 10/19

Ben Crawford will be performing live as part of the "Broadway at Blend" concert series in Ridgewood, New Jersey October 19th. The series takes place at nightclub/restaurant Blend every Monday evening at 8 pm.

The evening will feature performances by Crawford and will be followed by an open mic and dancing. "Broadway at Blend' is hosted by Wicked's Ben Cameron.

Ben Crawford will replace Tony nominee Brian d'Arcy James as the title role in Shrek, the musical on November 10th. Mr. Crawford made his Broadway debut in the recent revival of Les Miserables understudying the roles of both Jean Valjean and Javert.

Ben Crawford (Shrek) is currently the stand-by for the role of Shrek in Shrek The Musical. He hails from Tucson, Arizona where he received a BFA degree in Music Theatre from the University of Arizona. He made his Broadway debut in the revival of Les Misérables, where he understudied the roles of both Javert and Jean Valjean. Other past credits include Oliver! at the MUNY (Bill Sykes), Oklahoma! at TOTS (Jud Fry), Carousel (Billy Bigelow), White Christmas (Bob Wallace), Guys and Dolls (Sky Masterson) and Assassins (John Wilkes-Booth).
