New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) welcomes globally recognized hip hop soul artist Musiq Soulchild on Friday, June 10th at 8PM. See Musiq Soulchild in this much anticipated concert perform hits "Love," "Half Crazy" plus his infectious hot new single "I Do" from his recently released new album, Life On Earth. Philadelphia native Taalib Johnson, aka Musiq Soulchild, is a soul artist and nine-time Grammy nominee whose unique style blends R&B, soul, funk, rock, blues, jazz and hip-hop. He was introduced to the world with his platinum debut album Aijuswanaseing (I Just Want to Sing), which included the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop single "Just Friends." His second single, "Love," spent 22 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and has been described by many as a classic. Musiq Soulchild has been nominated for and received many awards in the music industry, including MTV, the American Music Awards, NAACP, BET and ASCAP.

About Lalah Hathaway
Born into musical legacy, double Grammy winner Lalah Hathaway is the offspring of musicians Donny Hathaway and Eulaulah Hathaway. She has performed with such greats as Stevie Wonder, Mary J. Blige, Esperanza Spalding, Snoop Dogg, Dianne Reeves and Christian McBride. Her six studio albums chronicle a journey through R&B, jazz and soul, with inflections of blues, funk, gospel, classical, country and folk.

Newark-born Raheem DeVaughn, a three-time Grammy nominee, has made a career of tapping into people's emotions by creating personal soundtracks to their love lives, as on his latest album Love, Sex & Passion.
