Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City is ringing in the season with EBENEZER, A MUSICAL CHRISTMAS CAROL produced by Ocean Professional Theatre Company, at the beautiful and historic Screening Room Theatre in the Ocean Tower. Guests will be taken on an unforgettable journey of glitter, tradition and pure Christmas magic. The production will run for seven performances, December 12-20, 2014.

The musical Christmas carol "EBENEZER" with full original score is based on Charles Dickens' classic Holiday masterpiece. Collaborators Ian Desmond O'Connell for the Book, William Mearns Music, and Rosemary Novellino-Mearns Lyrics, have tried to stay very true to Dickens with some amazing musical numbers, frolicking book and charming story.

"EBENEZER" is warm and rich in its telling of this story, touching and scary, and soul lifting when the lessons of love and belief are revealed. Great for adults and families with humor, singing and a classic story.

Just as Scrooge learns that "Saying Merry Christmas" to someone is a wonderful feeling, we know that you will be inspired and smiling as we follow his journey of celebrating life and relearning to believe in the good. With all your favorite Dickens Characters and an original Score, Ebenezer will not disappoint.

Directed and Choreographed by the very talented Paula Sloan, whose work was last seen at Resorts with 42nd Street at the Superstar Theatre, Ms. Sloan has also directed numerous National Tours (Music Man, Little Women, Urban Cowboy, Titanic, Sweet Charity), Ring of Fire for Laguna Playhouse and Casino Production Shows in Reno and Atlantic City. Scenic and Costume Designs by P &G Designs, Specialty props and Scenic elements by Costume Armour, Nino Novellino

William Mearns and Rosemary Novellino Mearns started writing musicals after ending longstanding dance and singing careers at Radio City Music Hall. They were instrumental in the saving of Radio City in the 70's by founding and heading up the Showpeople's Committee to save Radio City and Rosemary's book: "Who Really Saved Radio City Music Hall, A Dancer's Story" is due out in bookstores December 2014.
