Mile Square Theatre (MST), Hudson County's premiere professional theatre company, presents Sarah Weber Gallo/dancetheatre's The Magic Hour from March 2 to March 5, 2017. Performances will be held at the Mile Square Theatre located at 1400 Clinton Street (at 14th Street) in Hoboken, NJ.

In this ecstatic new dance theatre work, performers fling themselves through a scary/happy/sad dreamscape in search of how to be, how to make an impact, and how to fade away. The Magic Hour attacks the existential problem of unstoppable time with ferocious energy as the performers grasp at immortality.

The Magic Hour's concept and choreography are the brainchild of Sarah Weber Gallo, a senior member of the Metropolitan Opera Ballet at Lincoln Center, and a former Radio City Rockette, among other performance credits. Her choreography has been presented at numerous international and national venues including MST (Much Ado About Cucumbers & Cigars, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Goodnight Moon, and You're A Good Man Charlie Brown), and most recently Brooklyn's Roulette Intermedium. A resident of Hoboken, Ms. Weber Gallo is the director of the Mile Square Theatre Dance Academy.

Rounding out the artistic team are director/dramaturg Joseph Gallo (MST's Long Gone Daddy), MST's resident designer Matthew J. Fick, Sound Designer Michael Blaskewicz, and costume designer Laura Borys. The ensemble of dancers and performers include, Sarah Weber Gallo, Quinn Dixon, Thomas Hildreth, Danielle Schulz, and Lucy Wild.

"Sarah's not only an important MST teaching artist as the director of the MST Dance Academy, but she's a key creative artist with our company. She has contributed choreography for many of our professional shows, and a few years ago, we presented her theatre/dance work Much Ado About Cucumbers & Cigars, which was an enormous success." says Chris O'Connor, MST's Artistic Director. "We are excited to produce this very ambitious new work in our in our new space and look forward to presenting more dance in the future."

The Magic Hour runs March 2 - March 5, Thursday - Saturday @ 8 pm, Sunday @ 3 pm and 7 pm. Tickets are $25. Students/Seniors tickets are $15. Presented by Mile Square Theatre, located at 1400 Clinton Street in Hoboken. Tickets are available at www.milesquaretheatre.org, or by calling 201-683-7014 for reservations.
