BWW Preview: Broadway Stars at THE STUDIO ON 35 in Eatontown on 6/4

The Studio on 35 announces their Grand Opening on June 4, 2016 at 21 Main Street (Rt. 35) Eatontown. Offering free sample classes from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Attendees will get to experience world-class training from Broadway performers and enjoy face painting, activities and refreshments throughout the day. Anyone who signs up at the Grand Opening will receive a discount on pre-registration and Summer programs.

Theresa Fowler Pittius, Co-owner & Creative Director of The Studio, has an extensive entertainment repertoire, from Cameron Mackintosh's National Broadway Touring production of Oliver! and Off-Broadway's A Savage Light to her film credits, "Eyes" (co-starring Oscar-Winning actor Martin Landau), "New York Lately" and "Jersey Girl." She will be teaching free voice lessons for all ages and styles from 10am-4pm.

Broadway Star Bethany Moore (The Original Broadway Cast of Spiderman: Turn off the Dark, Broadway Revival Cast of Pippin, Off Broadway's Into the Woods, National Tours of Cats and Chorus Line) will teach a free Broadway Master Class: Matilda at 10am.

Choreographer/Dancer Everett Brothers (MTV & Billboard Magazine) will teach a free Music Video Breakdown class at 11:30am.

Broadway performer & Recording Artist Kristy Lynn Cavanaugh (Broadway National Tour of Cats, 101 Dalmatians: The Musical & Joseph...Dreamcoat; MTV's Wannabe: Britney Spears) will teach two free Broadway Master Classes at 1pm and 2:30pm.

Middletown native and classically trained vocalist Kathleen Hennessey-Carey will be hosting an "Intro to Opera" program this summer for teens and adults. Kathleen is a graduate of Westminster Choir College of Princeton, and has performed with the New York Philharmonic-Symphony Orchestra.

Pittius has been involved in her hometown area of Monmouth County as the Founder/Executive Director of Broadway Boot Camp and The Broadway Bound intensive programs featured at the Middletown Arts Center, Colts Neck Dance & Performing Arts Academy and in Asbury Park. She is also the Co-Founder/Executive Producer and Host of the Bar-Top Bandits nightlife touring production, having rocked rip-roaring vocals from Rockefeller Center & Times Square to the legendary Stone Pony, Count Basie Theatre and Convention Hall in Asbury Park. "It is an honor to give back to my community with this unique and creative venue, along with co-owners and Holmdel residents Sang and Chiara Yi," says Pittius. "I am so excited to bring some of Broadway's best to the Jersey Shore!"
