Eagle Theatre's A CHORUS LINE Closes 2/9

The Eagle Theatre, located at 208 Vine Street in Hammonton, NJ will close its critically acclaimed run of A Chorus Line with three performances on February 7, 8, and 9 at 8:00PM..

One reviewer, Jack Shaw of Stage Magazine, writes, "This marks the best musically, best acted, best choreographed, best directed, best sound (music), best lighting and best produced A CHORUS LINE I have ever seen." Another, Patti Buehler of Broadway World, zeroed in on the choreography, writing, "Director Ed Santiago and Assistant Director Joe Marella have brought out all the passion of each dancer's individuality."

A Chorus Line centers around a group of aspiring dancers auditions for only a few available spots. Their stories, dreams, and aspirations are told through such powerful and passionate songs such as I Hope I Get It and What I Did for Love.

The Eagle Theatre's production of A Chorus Line features some of the finest performers and dancers in the region, including former Miss New Jersey Erica Scanlon Harr. Erica, a graduate of Manhattan's New School for Drama, has been active in the region's theatre scene for several years, and has been seen onstage at such venues as the Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia, PA, and the New Candelight Theaterin Wilmington, DE. In 2004, she was crowned Miss New Jersey, and went on to represent the state at the Miss America pageant in Atlantic City.
