Cabaret Theatre has announced its first show of the spring semester: How I Learned to Drive by Paula Vogel.

About the show: "In How I Learned to Drive, a woman nicknamed Li'l Bit relives her past as she discovers what brought her to the present. In this Pulitzer Prize winning play by acclaimed playwright Paula Vogel, Li'l Bit revisits her most wonderful and most painful memories as she attempts to understand and move on from her childhood in a story that is hilarious, terrifying and ultimately beautiful."

Please note that this is not a family show and it is recommended that no persons under the age of 18 attend.

The cast includes: Stephanie Van Huss, Marc Mills, Taylor McKay, Boris Van Der Ree and Amanda Padro.

Jordan Gochman is Director and Co-Set Designer of Cabaret’s production of How I Learned to Drive. The production staff includes Meg King as Stage Manager, Matt Leddin as Assistant Director and Co-Set Designer, John Latona as Lighting Designer, Gabby Slomicz as Assistant Lighting Designer, Suved Adkar as Sound Designer and Dom Nero and Jeff Prentky as Projection Designers.

How I Learned to Drive will run the last two weekends in February. The show opens on Friday February 17th at 8pm, with performances on Saturday February 18th at 8pm and Sunday February 19th at 7pm. The following weekend the show will run on Friday February 24th at 8pm and Saturday February 25th at 3pm and 8pm.

Ticket prices are $7 for students/faculty/staff and $12 for General Public.

Cabaret Theatre is located on 7 Suydam St (on the corner of Suydam and Nichol) on Rutgers' Douglass Campus.
