Centenary Stage Company's family favorite smash hit holiday spectacular, A CHRISTMAS CAROL: THE MUSICAL is now in its final weekend in the Lackland Center.

Audiences have been raving over this imaginative re-telling of Charles Dickens beloved classic filled with beautiful melodies and memorable lyrics by Broadway powerhouses Alan Menken and Lynn Ahrens. "My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the performance! The music was wonderful, the performances engaging and we left filled with the joy of the season." (Gertrude Daily)

Boasting a cast of over 65 artists, a live orchestra of professional musicians and directed by Broadway veteran Michael Blevins, the large cast is led by CSC favorite and Broadway veteran Osborn Focht (Hoboken, NJ). Focht returns to the Sitnik Stage as Ebenezer Scrooge. Audiences will remember Focht as Captain Hook in last season's family holiday production of Peter Pan. Focht is best known for his appearance in Paul Simon's The Capeman on Broadway, and as Benny Andersson in Kristina at Carnegie Hall. "The show was fabulous! This was my Christmas gift to my family & it turned out to be perfect. We were 19 in all, ranging in age from 9 years to 72, and everyone was spellbound." (Nancy Cassidy)

A CHRISTMAS CAROL: THE MUSICAL not only signifies the start of the holiday season for many but celebrates all of Centenary Stage Company's programming by combining community members, CSC staff, Centenary College Theatre Department faculty and students, members of the critically acclaimed Young Performers Workshop and professional guest artists. "My daughter and I went on Saturday evening and were blown away by the professionalism and delightfulness of this outstanding production." (Bill Wisch)
