The Music Hall's Writers in the Loft series will present the New York Times bestselling author of The Devil Wears Prada Lauren Weisberger with her latest novel, THE SINGLES GAME - a dishy tell-all tennis tale based on Weisberger's extensive research and behind-the-scenes interviews with tennis celebrities.

The 7pm event includes an author presentation and moderated Q+A, plus book signing and meet-and-greet. It will be held at the Music Hall Loft at 131 Congress Street, in downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

How far would you go to reach the top? Sweeping from Wimbledon to the Caribbean, from the US Open to the Mediterranean, THE SINGLES GAME is a sexy and wickedly entertaining romp through a world where the stakes are high-and no one plays by the rules.

"Lauren Weisberger's The Devil Wears Prada was adored around the world. As a book, as a movie, it took us on a hilarious and wicked ride through the fashion world," said Margaret Talcott, Producer of Writers in the Loft and the evening's moderator. "With Singles, she brings us another eagerly anticipated expose. We look forward to her joining us in Portsmouth with this glamorous new book and compelling heroine."

When America's sweetheart, Charlotte "Charlie" Silver, makes a pact with "The Devil" in the forms of her infamously brutal tennis coach Todd Feltner, she finds herself catapulted into a world of celebrity stylists, private parties, charity matches aboard mega-yachts, and secret dates with Hollywood royalty.

Under Todd's new ruthless regime, Charlie the good girl is "out," or she should be, as no one ever wins big by playing nice. Todd wants Charlie to be and to play as a "Warrior Princess," all the way.

Celebrity mags and gossip blogs go wild for Charlie as she jets around the globe chasing Grand Slam titles and Page Six headlines. But as the Warrior Princess's star rises on and off the court, it comes at a cost. In a world obsessed with good looks and hot shots, is Charlie Silver willing to lose herself to win it all?

LAUREN WEISBERGER is the New York Times bestselling author of The Devil Wears Prada, which was published in forty languages and made into a major motion picture starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. Weisberger's four previous novels, Everyone Worth Knowing, Last Night at Chateau Marmont, Chasing Harry Winston, and Revenge Wears Prada were all top-ten New York Times bestsellers. A graduate of Cornell University, she lives in Connecticut with her husband and two children.

The ticket package for Writers in the Loft: Lauren Weisberger on Wednesday, July 27 at 7pm is $40. In addition to a reserved seat, the package includes a copy of THE SINGLES GAME ($26, hardcover), a bar beverage, and book signing meet-and-greet.
