Two original short plays will be sharing the stage on the weekends of July 4th and 11th at the Players' Ring Theatre in Portsmouth.

In Bruder, Morris Feldstein, a wealthy survivor of Auschwitz has never stopped looking for his younger brother. Frederick Steiner

never was taken to a concentration camp and he is angry Holocaust survivors get all the attention. Steiner reads Feldstein's life story in a magazine and then, against the wishes of his

wife, pretends to be Feldstein's long lost brother, with unforeseen consequences.

In the second play, The Settlement, an emotional opposite of the the first, there is a fall in a supermarket . A lawsuit is initiated and a deposition is conducted. Be prepared to laugh when you meet Goldie Wishnia...every lawyer's nightmare.

Both plays were written by Les Dubow and will be directed by Jessica Miller.

Friday and Saturday performances will be at 10:00 p.m.

Sunday performances will be at 9:00 p.m.
