As part of the William H. Gile Series, The Capitol Center for the Arts presents Hooray for Hollywood on Wednesday, March 20, at 7:30pm. This event is free of charge; however tickets need to be reserved to ensure seating.

Take a nostalgic journey through the most popular movie musicals of the last 50 years. Featuring songs from Singing in the Rain and The Glenn Miller Story to Titanic, Hairspray and Beauty & The Beast, HOORAY FOR HOLLYWOOD is musical entertainment for the entire family and the show NOT to be missed! This exhilarating production showcases classic film images along with live performances recreating some of the greatest song and dance moments in Hollywood history.

From the creators of Spirit of the Dance, this all new production features a stunning cast of singers and dancers and has the audience singing and dancing in their seats to over 30 songs including: Singing in the Rain, In the Mood, Staying Alive, What a Feeling, All That Jazz, My Heart Will Go On, A Whole New World, Dancing Queen, Jailhouse Rock, and many more!

The William H. Gile Concert Series opened on December 16, 1960 after a legacy of more than $700,000 was left by Helen B. Gile to finance a free concert series for the residents of Concord. The bequest was made in memory of Miss Gile's father, William H. Gile.
