Seacoast Repertory Theatre has announced that Let's "B" Reel: Cult Classic Films presents a very special screening of Labyrinth (1986) March 14, 8p.m. This cult classic comes to life with full audience participation, masquerade ball, costume contest and a special pre-show by Lady Luck Burlesque. Patrons are encouraged to dress up as their favorite characters from the film, or in their "most regal attire", sing along and participate ala "Rocky Horror".

Labyrinth is a beloved fantasy directed by the late great Jim Henson and stars a young Jennifer Connelly and David Bowie (in his most revealing role...ever). Follow Sarah (Connelly) as she tries to save her baby brother from the clutches of the Goblin King (Bowie). Along a vast and visionary landscape, she meets a rag tag group of misfits who help her along the way. One of the darker of Henson's films; Labyrinth provides everything from off beat laughs, weird imagery, all rounded out by original songs by Bowie.

"I personally am so excited for this screening" says Knate Higgins, special series curator for The Rep. "I actually wore out my VHS copy (of Labyrinth) when I was a kid, that's how much I love this film. We are expecting a great turn out for this screening..."

"We have a few tricks up our sleeves for Labyrinth" says Timothy Fife, co-director of Let's "B" Reel. "This screening is all Knate, and I think the audience will be blown away"

Labyrinth screens at The Rep March 14th, 2014 at 8PM. Tickets are $10 in advance (encouraged), and Pay-What-You-Can day of show. Seating is limited and general admission, arrive early for the best seat. Bar and lobby open at 7pm.
