The Seacoast Repertory Theatre has announced that Let's "B" Reel: Cult Classic Films will be screening Larry Cohen's high camp, bio-hazard horror comedy The Stuff (1985) April 16th, 2014 at 7:30pm. The screening will feature an exclusive interactive Skype interview and Q&A on the big screen with the director himself, Larry Cohen.

The Stuff (1985) is a cautionary tale of consumerism in America. A new ice cream like product called The Stuff is released for sale and all of America is raving about it. The fascination with the white substance, slowly becomes an obsession for most, turning the general population into zombie-like creatures. David Rutherford (Michael Moriarty) is hired to uncover the shocking truth behind The Stuff, and what he finds is nothing close to pure terror.

In addition to this interactive screening, The Rep will be hosting its first ever "Make You Own Stuff Contest." Directors and Hosts, Bunny Wonderland and Timothy Fife are asking fans to make their own edible version of The Stuff , to be taste-tested and judged. The top 3 winners will receive some extra special Stuff and Larry Cohen themed prizes. "We have pulled out all the stops for this screening" says co-director Timothy Fife. "There will be even more special surprises for Larry Cohen fans at the screening...just wait!"

The Stuff screens at Seacoast Rep April 16th, at 7:30 p.m. Advance tickets are $10, tickets day of show are Pay-What-You-Can. Seating is limited and general admission, arrive early for the best seat. Bar and lobby open at 6:30 p.m.
