The Palace Theatre is excited to present an original production, The Four Piano Men, from February 18th through March 5th 2011. The Four Piano Men, an original musical production written, conceived and choreographed by Palace Theatre Artistic Director, Carl Rajotte, brings to life the innovative and timeless music influenced by  Billy Joel, Elton John, Stevie Wonder and Freddie Mercury.

"The Four Piano Men features live music with dancers, accomplished vocalists and pianists direct from New York City. The Palace Theatre is extremely proud to be the first venue to produce this show," states Palace Theatre President, Peter Ramsey.

Carl and his artistic team traveled to New York City to find the perfect blend of dancers and featured artists. "It is exhilarating to see such top level talent come together with such enthusiasm and talent." added Rajotte.

Matthew Friedman will perform the music of Elton John and Billy Joel. He is an accomplished singer/composer/multi-instrumentalist from New York City. He has played piano for almost 40 years. Matthew plays and records regularly with many of Broadway's finest musicians, and since the summer of 2008 he has been performing on keyboards with Jersey Boys in New York City. He will soon be performing in a similar capacity for the upcoming Broadway production, Spider Man: Turn off the Dark. He also had the honor of accompanying Billy Joel at his wedding in 2004. Matthew spent all of 2006 as the "The Piano Man" in the First National Touring Company of Tony Award-winning musical, Movin' Out. Together with Kyle Martin, he released Stories in Lights, an album featuring both original songs and reinterpretations of Billy Joel's classic tunes, in 2007.

Dominique Scott, a 2010 graduate of Syracuse University School of Drama will perform the music of Freddie Mercury and Stevie Wonder. Dominique's recent credits include Laurie in Little Women (Syracuse Stage), Fyedka in Fiddler on the Roof (Syracuse Stage), Chris in Miss Saigon (French Woods Festival), Wallace in Women and Wallace (Syracuse Black Box), and Marius in Les Mis (Miami Stage Company). Dominique will be releasing his debut album with his band Domin8trx in April 2011.

Recently, Mr. Rajotte directed the highly acclaimed productions of Cabaret, The Full Monty, Swing Fever! and RENT.  He has also directed the sold out productions of CATS and Grease.
