The historic Palace Theatre in downtown Manchester is proud to continue its 2010-2011 Professional Theatre Citizens Bank Performing Arts Series with 42nd Street, opening on Friday, March 25th at 7:30 pm. The show runs through April 9th.

The classic Tony Award Winning tap extravaganza, 42nd Street, is a wonderful, energetic, tap-infused Broadway favorite known for such songs as "We're in the Money," "Lullaby of Broadway," and "Shuffle off to Buffalo."

"Musical theatre audiences love 42nd Street, which illustrates what hard work and a little luck can do. For the Palace Theatre's interpretation of this classic Broadway hit, I am eager to incorporate my own dramatic elements," states Carl Rajotte, Artistic Director. "I am proud of this cast for working so hard to prepare for this intensive production and for our production crew that is still hard at work on the finishing touches featuring forty pairs of tap shoes, fifty wigs, over twelve pounds of glitter and six thousand rhinestones, this show will be filled with all of the glitz, glamour and energy of the old-time musicals," added Carl.

Don't miss your chance to experience this dynamic production of 42nd Street! Tickets may be purchased by calling the Palace Theatre box office at 603-668-5588 or online at www.palacetheatre.org.
