"Anne of Green Gables, never change-we like you just this way." Leddy Center for the Performing Arts' Executive Director, Elaine Gatchell, is pleased to present the delightful musical, "Anne of Green Gables" from October 25 through November 13, at Leddy Center on Ladd's Lane in Epping, NH. Performances are Fridays at 7:30pm and Saturdays, Sundays, and one Wednesday at 2:00pm. School performances are October 30, and November 13, at 9:00am and 11:30am.

"Anne of Green Gables-sweet and strange-stay as you are today." Based on L.M. Montgomery's popular book-the first of a series about Anne Shirley - "Anne of Green Gables" is the perfect show in its ability to capture the imagination of all ages, both male and female, and take them on a sometimes hilarious, always enjoyable journey through four years of Anne's life on Prince Edward Island.

"Though blossoms fade and friends must part, and old grow the songs we've sung..." Younger Anne is endearingly portrayed by Nen Horan of Sandown, NH, projecting every nuance of emotion-from fiery temper to vivid imagination - that sets Anne's course in life. Older Anne is played with gentle assurance by Sara Schwab of Hampton, NH. She is the perfect complement to Nen's youth, capturing the essence that defines Anne and carrying it within her very soul. Younger Gilbert is played by Ryan Dever of Exeter and Older Gilbert is played by Collin George of Exeter. Marilla Cuthbert is played by Lynn Rockwell of Chester and Matthew Cuthbert is played by Greg deZarn O'Hare of Fremont. Young Diana is played by Ally Roeder of Exeter and Older Diana is played by Nicole Currier of Fremont. A full cast of older and younger friends of Anne and the wonderful ladies and gentlemen of Avonlea, make this a show that will be loved by all.

"Anne of Green Gables, in our hearts you are forever young." "Anne of Green Gables" is sponsored by Exeter Hospital. Tickets for "Anne of Green Gables", are $18. on line at www.leddycenter.org or by calling the Leddy box office, Monday through Friday, from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, at 603-679-2781.
