Leddy Center for the Performing Arts Host Auditions For New Season 11/27

Director Elaine Gatchell is excited to announce auditions for Leddy Center's production of Charlotte Bronte's timeless classic, "Jane Eyre", Saturday, November 27, from 9am to 5am. Please call our office at 679-2781, Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 5:00pm to set up an audition appointment. Women, children, and men are needed. There are 30 in the cast. Rehearsals begin Feb. 5, and are on Sunday afternoons at 1:00pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00pm. Shows are two weekends, April 1-10, 2011.

Ms. Gatchell also announces auditions for two beautiful Christmas musicals, Carlo Menotti's "Amahl and the Night Visitors", and O. Henry's "The Gift of the Magi" on Saturday, January 8, from 9-5. Please call our office at 679-2781, Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 5:00pm to set up an audition appointment. Beautiful voices are needed for male and female shepherds, Amahl (boy, age 9-11), mother, 3 Kings, a boy page, and one dancer. "The Gift of the Magi" has one newly married couple in their 20's-30's. There are two rehearsals in each month, January, February, March, April, and then rehearsals resume in November. Both shows will be performed two weekends, December 2-11, 2011.
