Jean's Playhouse Begins 2014 Children's Theatre Season with LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD Today

Jean's Playhouse will begin its 2014 Children's Theatre season with a performance of Little Red Riding Hood today, June 24, at the Capitol Center for the Arts.

Performances occur on Tuesdays at 11am and 2:30pm. Throughout the summer, five professional adult actors from the Jean's Playhouse Theatre Company perform original musical adaptations of popular fairy and folk tales in seven communities throughout New Hampshire, including Concord. The shows appeal to adults and children ages 3 and up and run 30 minutes. Each performance concludes with a cast meet and greet and autograph signing.

The 2014 season will include performances of Little Red Riding Hood (Tuesday, June 24), Rumpelstiltskin (Tuesday, July 1), The Princess and the Pea (Tuesday July 8), Beauty and the Beast (Tuesday, July 15), Excalibur! (Tuesday, July 22), Rikki Tikki Tavi (Tuesday, July 29), George and the Dragon (Tuesday, August 5) and Cinderella (Tuesday, August 12).

Children's Theatre tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at The Capitol Center for the Arts Box Office, located at 44 South Main Street, Concord NH 03301, online at www.ccanh.com, or via phone at 603-225-1111. Tickets are $7.50 each, $7 for groups of 15-24, and $6.50 for groups of 25+. Full series tickets are also available for $52. Presented in partnership with Jean's Playhouse.
