Friends, fans and students of Epping's own Mary Gatchell are thrilled to hear that she will be part of one of the biggest productions ever to hit Broadway for a one night sell-out performance to benefit the Actors Fund on Monday, June 8, 2015.

"Bombshell" is the fictional musical about Marilyn Monroe that was central to the NBC TV Series "Smash". "Bombshell" stars five of the lead "Smash" actors: Christian Borle, Will Chase, Megan Hilty, Katharine McPhee and Debra Messing.

"Bombshell" will be performed before a sold-out audience of 1,700 at the Minskoff Theater, where The Lion King is performed, and will benefit the Actors Fund, a social services organization that assists arts and entertainment industry workers on June 8, 2015. "Bombshell" features music by Marc Shaiman and lyrics by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. Joshua Bergasse and Scott Wittman co-direct with choreography by Bergasse and music direction by Shaiman.

Mary Gatchell will once again be holding two voice summer camps at Leddy Center later this month! Summer Camp Sing Out I with Mary Gatchell, for ages 6-9, will be held June 23-27, from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Summer Camp Sing out II, for ages 10-14, will be held June 30-July 3. Camp time for the second camp is 10:00am to 12:00pm.

Children will learn voice techniques, harmony, choreography, and composition in this fun summer camp! Not only will campers be performing the final day of camp for family and friends, but they will get to perform on stage with Mary and her great NYC band, at Mary's big annual concert at Leddy, Friday, October 2!

Camp fee is $125.00 and registration fee is $10. Registration forms may be downloaded from our website, www.leddycenter.org.
