The Dorks continue their unique blend of comedy and gaming this month at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre. The show follows the story of a fantastical delivery service, the Special Parcel Service, as they struggle to make their heroic deliveries in the face of grave danger and their own incompetence. Their success or failure is determined by the roll of a 20-sided die, reminiscent of role playing games like Dungeons & Dragons. The show combines costumes, dice, improvisers, and a Game Master into a hilarious blend.

Last month the heroes were able to find the final Soul Stone and complete their season long quest to find the components needed to save their world. Amidst war, personal loss, and incompetence driven setbacks, the Special Parcel Service has reached the finish line of their quest. Will they figure out what to do with the mysterious Soul Stones? Will any more characters die? Will their boss give them a day off? No one knows! The show is improvised!

Now in their third season, the Dorks continue to refine their comedy and incorporation of crazy audience suggestions and musical guests. They have even written a book about the game they designed and play onstage, The Dorks in Dungeons Campaign Guide and Roleplaying Game. The third season is sponsored by Pickwick's Mercantile.
