Dorks in Dungeons LIVE! Onstage, the dice-rolling fantasy improv comedy show will hold their once-monthly show Sunday Feb 23 at 7pm at the Seacoast Repertory Theatre This month, they continue their absurd ongoing adventure in a two hour comedy extravaganza. This month they are joined by guest improviser Timothy Jacobs, a local actor and fixture of Seven Stages Shakespeare Company. Local game-makers Games by Playdate will be running demonstrations of some of their games for guests during the social hour prior to the show

Dorks in Dungeons were awarded an Editor's Pick for best Improv Comedy in NH from New Hampshire Magazine's Best of NH in 2013. They even wrote a book, The Dorks in Dungeons Campaign Guide and Roleplaying Game. They have performed as headliners at Hal-Con in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the 2nd largest Fantasy/Sci-Fi convention in Canada. They will be guests of honor at upcoming fantasy conventions TotalCon, Conbust, and PortCon Maine.

The performance will feature a social hour before the show beginning at 6pm, where guests can browse various vendors, play games by local and national game-makers, and enjoy beverages before entering the theater for the performance. The show is pay-what-you-can.

Dorks in Dungeons is inspired by Dungeons & Dragons, a rule-intensive role-playing dice game where players create imaginary characters in a fantasy world and set off on quests - all controlled by the Game Master. Game Master Brian Kelly leads the Dorks' adventurers (played by Brian Paul, Teddi Bailey, Cullen Delangie, and Molly Dowd Sullivan) through battles, challenges, skill checks more while a troupe of improvisers act as the denizens of a living, breathing fantasy world. Improvisers include Michael Ficara, Glenn Provost, Robin Fowler, Kevin Baringer and more with special guest appearances throughout the year from Seacoast favorites.

Dorks in Dungeons LIVE! Onstage contains language and adult themes and is not recommended for children.
