William Shakespeare's classic comedy, THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, is transformed into a ballet specifically for the Bolshoi. It is presented this Sunday, January 24th at 1pm as part of the Peterborough Players' Arts on Screen series.

Many suitors dream of marrying the lovely and docile Bianca, including Lucentio. However her father will not let anyone marry her before her elder sister, the ill-tempered shrew Katharina, is herself married. French choreographer Jean-Christophe Maillot lands a coup with his adaptation of Shakespeare's comedy tailored specifically to the Bolshoi dancers, and achieves a magnetic two hours of breathtaking, nonstop dance unlike any other. Exclusive to the Bolshoi.

The Peterborough Players' Arts on Screen series is presented in stunning NEC high definition digital projection and incomparable Dolby Surround Sound.

Bolshoi Ballet tickets for THE TAMING OF THE SHREW are $20 each. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Box Office at 603-924-7585 or online at PlayersTix.com. Ticket price for children and students (current ID required) are $15. The Players accepts MasterCard, Visa or American Express.
