Theater League, in conjunction with Phoenix Entertainment, is excited to announce a search for a young male actor to portray the role of "Tom of Warwick" in the National Tour of CAMELOT. Winners will have the opportunity to go behind the scenes and participate in a sound check, rehearsal and costume fitting opening day, with a speaking role as Tom of Warwick in the final scene of CAMELOT January 15-18 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.

Tom of Warwick is a young boy destined to be a Knight. He wants to fight for what is right and gives Arthur hope for the future. CAMELOT tells the story of the legend of King Arthur who rules his kingdom with new ideals, bringing peace to a troubled land. But when his beautiful new Queen Guenevere and the dashing Sir Lancelot, his most trusted knight, give in to their passion for one another, one of the most fabled love triangles of all time ensues. When Mordred, King Arthur's illegitimate son, catches on and sees a kingdom in chaos, he attempts to destroy all that is CAMELOT!

REQUIREMENTS: Ideally, those auditioning for the role of Tom of Warwick should be in good physical shape, appear to be between the ages of 8 and 13 and under 5' tall. Tom is an acting role with no singing required. Actor should be able to memorize approximately 10-15 lines and take simple stage direction quickly. Actor must be able to attend a mandatory rehearsal, sound check and costume fittings the opening day of the show January 15 at the Civic Arts Plaza. The actor will need a chaperone over 18 years of age to accompany him at all times.

WHAT TO SUBMIT: Those auditioning must submit a headshot or recent photo, audition card, 50 word bio, signed release form and a link to his audition video to camelot@theaterleague.org no later than December 14, 2014, at 11:59 p.m. CST. Audition materials, including scene to prepare, audition card and release form, are available for download at theaterleague.com. The audition will not be considered unless all materials are received by deadline.
