Over the weekend, Dirty Dancing hit the stage at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, Connecticut with a musical performance not to forget.

With its impressive vocals and intoxicating dance moves, it was hard not to be enthralled as the classic story of two young lovers from very different worlds unfolds.

Johnny Castle (Christopher Tierney) and Frances "Baby" Houseman (Bronwyn Reed) find each other at Kellerman's resort one summer, where he is a dancer and she is visiting with her family. And while it takes them a while to warm up to one another, things finally spark after a watermelon and a mambo act.

There's no denying that Johnny and Baby's love story steals the show, but the talent from the entire cast is just as riveting. With Penny Johnson's (Jennifer Melani Jones) show-stopping moves, Lisa Houseman's (Alyssa Brizzi) playful dance number, and songs like "You Don't Own Me" and "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" belted out live, this show (and all the people in it) is brilliant.
