Teen Country Band Jetset Getset to Tour Southern States, Beginning 3/17

Members of the teenage country band Jetset Getset will spend their spring break sharing a "stop bullying" message in a series of appearances through several Southern states, beginning March 17.

The band from Lawrenceburg, Indiana is promoting the song "Stronger (Than You Seem)," which has been released to country radio stations. The ballad, from Jetset Getset's album "Saturday Night" (Playback Records), offers a message of hope for anyone who feels outcast. It is being used by the nonprofit PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center as part of the organization's bullying prevention resources. (http://www.pacer.org/bullying/video/player.asp?video=61)

Jetset Getset's itinerary includes an acoustic performance and interview at THE VOICE at Seacrest Studios at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. THE VOICE is one of several radio and television studios the Ryan Seacrest Foundation has built at select children's hospitals throughout the United States to provide high-quality entertainment for patients.

Jetset Getset will also visit WGGC in Bowling Green, Kentucky; WAIN in Columbia, Kentucky; WKFC in London, Kentucky; WKDP in Corbin, Kentucky; WGSQ in Cookeville, Tennessee; WOWF in Crossville, Tennessee; WJSQ in Athens, Tennessee; WJTH in Calhoun, Georgia; WCJM in West Point, Georgia; WEIS in Centre, Alabama; WKUL in Cullman, Alabama; WXFL in Florence, Alabama; and WOGY in Jackson, Tennessee. Other appearances are being scheduled.

WOGY morning personality Tad Pole reached out to Jetset Getset to arrange a performance at North Side High School in Jackson, Tennessee, as part of his station group's (Rock 92.3, Jammin' Jackson 97.7 and The TJ Network) bullying prevention initiative "I've Got Ur Back."

"We have been concerned with the rise of bullying in West Tennessee and have been working with North Side High School," he said. "Jetset Getset is a talented young band. Their song is really an anti-bullying anthem with a great message, so we wanted to get in touch with them about doing an appearance."

Jetset Getset will also perform at Fairview High School in Cullman, Alabama, and Moulton Middle School in Moulton, Alabama.

"We are excited to be visiting schools and radio stations to promote this song," said Kelli Jette, manager of Jetset Getset. "We hope people love 'Stronger' as much as we do. It has such a beautiful message for anyone who feels discouraged."

The music of Jetset Getset is available on iTunes, Amazon and other online retailers. "Stronger (Than You Seem)" is available to radio stations through Play MPE. More information is available at www.JetsetGetset.com.
