Nashville Repertory Theatre will present its newest production Death of a Salesman, the classic, Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning drama. Death of a Salesman runs tonight, March 12-28, 2015 at Andrew Johnson Theater at Tennessee Performing Arts Center.

In the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Death of a Salesman, Arthur Miller redefined the tragic hero in Willy Loman, the aging, failing salesman who makes his living riding on a smile and a shoeshine. Nashville Rep's production will transport audiences inside Willy's home and into his mind where his reality clashes with his fantasy. This classic continues to prove its relevance as audiences embrace the play as an expression of their own struggle to achieve the American dream. This production is recommended for high school and above.

Preview performances of The Whipping Man are March 12-13, 2015, opening night on Saturday, March 14, and the show runs through March 28. Specific performance dates and times are listed below. Nashville Rep's cast for Death of a Salesman includes Chip Arnold (Willy), Rona Carter (Linda), Eric Pasto-Crosby (Biff), Matt Garner (Happy), David Compton (Charley), Patrick Waller (Bernard), Geoff Davin (Howard), Derek Whittaker (Ben), Rebekah Durham (Woman), and acting interns Will Miranne (Stanley), Lindsey Mapes (Miss Forsythe), Abigail Kairdolf (Letta) and Emily Eytchison (Jenny).

Death of a Salesman was written by Arthur Miller and is directed by Nashville Rep's Producing Artistic Director René Copeland. Designers are Gary Hoff (Scenic/Properties Designer), Trish Clark (Costume Designer) and Phillip Franck (Lighting and Sound Designer). Technical Director is Tyler Axt.

Nashville Rep is a non-profit theatre bringing classic and contemporary theatre to Nashville that inspires empathy and prods intellectual and emotional engagement in audiences. The season concludes with the Ingram New Works Festival in May, a showcase of new works created in Nashville for the American Theatre.

Performances of Death of a Salesman will be held in Andrew Johnson Theatre at Tennessee Performing Arts Center, located at 505 Deaderick Street in downtown Nashville.
