Nashville Film Festival (NaFF) - based in Nashville, Tennessee, and one of the oldest film festivals in the United States - has announced its 2014 line up.

This year is Nashville Film Festival's 45th Anniversary and it's going to be a big celebration with extended dates and expanded events. The festival runs from today, April 17 through April 26.

The event will take place at both Regal Cinemas in the popular Nashville neighborhood Green Hills, as well as a terrific Downtown Nashville presence in front of the Country Music Hall of Fame.

The NaFF Opening Day Film is "The Identical," a music-themed movie starring Ashley Judd, Ray Liotta, Seth Green and newcomer Blake Rayne. The film is directed by Nashville's Dustin Marcellino, and the film was shot almost entirely in the Middle Tennessee region.

This year, NaFF is breaking records with over 3,000 film submissions from over 125 countries, and a new screenwriting competition garnered more than 1500 entries.
