Inspired by BroadwayWorld.com's Friday Six, welcome to Nashville.BroadwayWorld.com's latest installment of The Friday Five: five questions designed to help you learn more about the talented people you'll find onstage throughout the Volunteer state.

Today, the spotlight falls upon Delaney Amatrudo, one of Nashville's most acclaimed young actors who finishes up her run as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at Page High School in Williamson County. Her resume boasts a collection of roles that would make anyone envious, including her starring stint in Circle Players' productions of 13 the Musical and Footloose. Last summer, she played Millie Owens in the First Night staged reading of William Inge's Picnic (which I directed, so I know how wicked good she is). Speaking of Wicked, the girl's been in training to play Elphaba since she was tyke!

Find out more about Delaney and her love of theater-then make certain you catch her onstage very soon…before she becomes a great big star…

What was your first "live onstage" taste of theater? I don't really remember my first taste of live theatre. My mom was a concert flautist in Miami and played in the pit for a lot of touring shows, so I saw a lot of those. The first memory I have is probably seeing Wicked on Broadway for the first time with Shoshana Bean and Smash's Megan Hilty.

What is your favorite pre-show ritual? I don't have a fancy pre-show routine. I usually just run through a quick vocal warm-up called "Flexibility" and do a quick shake-down.

What's your most memorable "the show must go on" moment? Back when I did Footloose with Circle at the Looby, a car was stolen in the middle of a performance. The cops showed up at intermission and the whole cast was just standing around like, "Now what?" We wound up rallying and finishing out the show, but we all double checked the locks on our cars the next night...

What's your dream role? I have so many dream roles, but Elphaba is definitely at the top of my list. I've wanted to play the part for as long as I can remember. I also really want to play Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie and Rose in Gypsy (a couple years from now, of course...).

Who's your theatrical crush?
Aaron Tveit, Aaron Tveit, Aaron Tveit. We're getting married. He just doesn't know it yet.
