In The Wings Promotions will bring Tony Award nominee, original DEAR EVAN HANSEN and NEWSIES star, Mike Faist to teach an exclusive masterclasses in Montreal on September 18, 2017.

DEAR EVAN HANSEN'S Tony Award nominated original Connor Murphy, Mike Faist, who was also an original Broadway cast member of the hit musical NEWSIES, will hold an exclusive masterclass in Montreal for local performers. During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to work on musical theatre or monologues. Enrollment in the masterclass is extremely limited and open to participants who will each have one-on-one time with Mike, as well as auditors who can observe and learn from the audience. The masterclass will conclude with a Q & A with Mike and time to grab a selfie or autograph.

The masterclass will take place on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 6:00PM - 10:00PM at the MainLine Theatre's MiniMain, 3997 boul. St-Laurenet, Montreal. To participate, the fee is $195 and to audit the class, the fee is $75. Mike Faist is a Tony Nominated actor. Originally from Columbus, Ohio he moved to New York at 17 to pursue acting. Mike made his Broadway debut in Newsies-as an original cast member, he created the role of Morris Delancey for the regional premiere and continued through the Broadway transfer. He starred opposite Taylor Schilling and Peter Dinklage in A Month in the Country at Classic Stage Co (Dir. Erica Schmidt). Other theatre: Appropriate (Signature Theatre Company, Dir. Liesl Tommy), and originated the role of Connor Murphy in Dear Evan Hansen for which he was Nominated for a Tony award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical. Films include: Mania Days (Dir. Paul Dalio, Prod. Spike Lee), Lake City (Dir. Aaron Fisher-Cohen), License Plates (Dir. Marc Lucas) and The Grief of Others (Dir. Patrick Wang)-which recently premiered this year at SXSW and had its international premiere in L'ACID program in the Cannes Film, and I Can I Will I Did (Nadine Truong).
