The University of Montana School of Theatre & Dance presents Pentecost, a compelling and modern political thriller. Pentecost runs in the Montana Theatre of the Performing Arts and Radio/Television Center on campus March 19-23 and March 26-30 at 7:30 p.m.

A fearless, passionate, and powerful contemporary drama, Pentecost overflows with timely themes and meditations on national pride, terrorism, the exploitation of cultures, religion, and language. The discovery of a fresco on the wall of a church located in an unnamed Southeastern European town could prove to wholly reorder the entirety of art history ... if it's authentic. A sprawling ensemble of curators, magistrates, refugees, priests, tourists, and reporters converge upon the site with ideologies and agendas clashing as fiercely as any opposing armies might. Pentecost's electrifying wordplay and challenging issues, not to mention the fate of the fresco, will leave audiences with unforgettable images and arguments.

Pentecost by David Edgar runs March 19-23, March 26-30, 2013, at 7:30 p.m. in the Montana Theatre, PARTV Center, U of M Campus.

Tickets are $20 General; $16 Seniors (60+)/Students (any school ID required); $10 Children 12 & under. Call the UMArts Box Office at 406-243-4581, Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., or order tickets online at www.umtheatredance.org.
