The University of Montana will present Legally Blonde The Musical, the biennial co-production between the Schools of Music and Theatre & Dance. Legally Blonde The Musical runs in the Montana Theatre of the Performing Arts and Radio/Television Center on campus November 22, November 25-27, and November 30-December 4, 2016.

Bursting with upbeat song-and-dance numbers and adorably iconic characters, this award-winning contemporary musical will charm audiences of all ages. Based on the beloved film of the same name, Legally Blonde The Musical follows the irrepressible Elle Woods from running Delta Nu chapter meetings at UCLA to running rings around her opponents in court as a Harvard Law student. It's impossible not to root for-and hum along with-Elle as she defies expectations at every turn, staying true to herself and encouraging those around her to do the same. Audiences won't want to miss Machete, an amazingly cute local Chihuahua, who plays Elle's beloved pooch, Bruiser.

For tickets ($20 General; $16 Seniors (60+)/Students - any school ID required; $10 Children 12 & under) to Legally Blonde The Musical, call the UMArts Box Office at 406-243-4581, Tuesday-Friday from noon to 6:00 pm, or order tickets online at umt.edu/theatredance.
