Chanhassen Dinner Theatres excitedly unveils a SouthWest Transit Bus all covered in "Mermaid" to celebrate its Midwest Premiere of Disney's The Little Mermaid, which enjoyed its grand opening on Friday evening, March 7. The bus will be on display as guests arrive at the theatre. Check it out below!

The bus features the image of actor Caroline Innerbichler, who plays the role of Ariel in the Chanhassen premiere. This week Caroline came out to see the bus and posed for a photo so we could share it with our audiences. While it was too cold to appear in costume, Innerbichler seemed to find humor in seeing her likeness across a bus. Innerbichler will be riding her bus on a mystery date and time next week, distributing free show tickets to lucky riders.

Chanhassen Dinner Theatres' Marketing Director Joel Rainville said, "This is a great opportunity to share the message across the Twin Cities that fun and exciting things are happening at CDT! We hope the bus, like our show, will bring people joy and make them smile."

Len Simich, President and CEO of SouthWest Transit is thrilled to have our Mermaid on board, "We're happy to have the opportunity to transport perhaps, the world's most famous mermaid, Ariel. She, like all our riders, can "Expect the Best" on SouthWest Transit. SouthWest Transit is proud to be an important part of the communities we serve and we enjoy working with area businesses to meet their transit needs."
