Guest conductor Stuart Chafetz returns to the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra for the Pops performances of Oh, What a Night! on April 5-7, 2013 at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. Featuring vocalists Ron Bohmer, Tituss Burgess and Bradley Dean, the MSOsalutes those magical Jersey harmonies in a celebration of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and other favorites of the "doo-wop" era.

About the Artists
Stuart Chafetz, known for his ability to engage audiences with innovative concerts, is a conductor increasingly in demand with orchestras nationwide. His guest conducting appearances include the orchestras of San Francisco, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Houston, Calgary, Edmonton, Florida, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Louisiana, Naples, New Mexico, Phoenix, Virginia and the San Francisco Ballet. As resident conductor of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra from 2007-2011, Chafetz conducted over 75 concerts throughout the state of Wisconsin. While with the Honolulu Symphony, Chafetz stepped in at the last minute for music director Andreas Delfs to conduct a performance with American baritone Thomas Hampson. In addition, Chafetz conducted over 30 performances of The Nutcracker with Ballet Hawaii with principals from the American Ballet Theatre. In his fifth year as frequent guest conductor with the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra, Chafetz leads a series entitled Fall Fest, which celebrates great classics for modern audiences in a relaxed setting. In the summers, Chafetz spends his time at the Chautauqua Institution, where he conducts the annual July 4th concert with the Chautauqua Symphony.

Ron Bohmer starred on Broadway as The Fatherin Ragtime, as Phantomin The Phantom of the Opera, Joe Gillisin Sunset Boulevard (Jefferson Award nomination), as the title role in The Scarlet Pimpernel (National Broadway Theatre Award nomination), Alexin Aspects of Love (LA Robby Award), the evil Sir Percival Glyde in The Woman in White, Enjolras in Les Miserables and Fyedkain Fiddler on the Roof. He recently completed a tour of the United States and Canada, starring as Coach Boltonin Disney's High School Musical. As a concert soloist, Ron has appeared at Radio City Music Hall, Lincoln Center, New York City's Town Hall and with symphonies and pops orchestras across the country. For more, visit ronbohmer.com.

Tituss Burgess recently starred on Broadway as Nicely Nicely Johnson in the Broadway revival of Guys and Dolls and sang for the 2009 Tony Awards. He originated the role of Sebastian the Crab inDisney's The Little Mermaid and has also starred in The Jersey Boys and Good Vibrations. Regionally, he was seen in The Wiz (Cowardly Lion, La Jolla), Songs for a New World, as Father in Children of Eden and Jim in Big River. Mr. Burgess recurs on the hit NBC show 30Rock as D'fwan. Bradley Dean is currently starring in the revival of Evita. He most recently appeared in A Little Night Musicwith Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury. Other Broadway credits include Spamalotas Sir Galahad, Companyas Bobby, Man of La Manchaas Don Quixote, The Story of My Life as Thomasand Jane Eyre as Rochester. Off Broadway and New York City appearances include The Big Time (The Drama Dept.), Barry Manilow's Harmony, Walmartopia (Minetta Lane), Poe (Cherry Lane Theater), Disney's When You Wishand Free to Be You and Me (Barrow Street Theater). He has toured nationally as Chein Evita directed by Hal Prince, Sir Galahad in Spamalot directed by Mike Nichols and internationally as Frank N. Furterin The Rocky Horror Picture Show, performing in over a dozen countries. Bradley has also appeared in concert with Barry Manilow throughout the country.
