The Iridium will air its first remote webcast this weekend, streaming the Sept 10 dedication ceremony for the new Les Paul Memorial in Paul's hometown of Waukesha, WI. The ceremony will feature remarks by Iridium owner Ron Sturm and Paul's son Russ, along with other friends, family, and members of the Les Paul Foundation. Visit The Iridium's webcast page at 10:30am to watch the ceremony: http://www.theiridium.com/iridiumlive.

From the Meyer sound system designed by Les Paul himself to the newly-installed 24-track studio located next to the stage, The Iridium has emerged as NYC's top live music destination for audiophiles. In addition to webcasting every Monday night in HD video and audio this September, the club will also broadcast the first concert of all multi-night runs along with select other shows. Fans can chat in realtime during the webcasts, and can even download an app to watch on their smartphone/tablet devices and be alerted when concerts begin.

The Iridium boasts a star-studded lineup this fall, including performances by Adrian Belew (King Crimson), The Max Weinberg 7, Marshall Crenshaw, and more. Check The Iridium's Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/iridiumjazzclub) to keep up with newly announced webcasts.
