Eddie Mekka returns to Naples to headline TheatreZone's first-ever gala fundraiser Sunday, March 24, 2013, performing his nightclub act, singing with a live band songs by Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Tom Jones, Louis Prima and many more, and storytelling in a charity show to benefit the Equity, non-profit theatre group at Cloyde's Steak & Lobster House on Venetian Bay in Naples.

It's Eddie Mekka...with a little ragoo on the side.

"Eddie has a wonderful magical voice," says TheatreZone founder Mark Danni. "His act is a little slick, a little bit risqué and a little bit over the top. Okay, sometimes very over the top."

Part of the magic is that Mekka enjoys entertaining with his band in an intimate setting and communicates that enjoyment to his audience. He's actually an entertainer who has fun onstage.

Tax-deductible tickets are available for $150 each, which includes an open bar and a variety of hot and cold hors d'oeuvres, small bites and gourmet carving stations. A pre-show reception and silent auction begins with doors opening at 5 pm followed by Mekka's live show at 6 pm.

The silent auction features an array of Broadway and theatre related items, including celebrity signed scripts from Laverne & Shirley and private drum lessons with TheatreZone artistic director Mark Danni that include personalized drum sticks. A live auction, highlighting a walk-on acting role in TheatreZone's May production of 110 in the Shade, Director for a Day and a private dinner with Eddie Mekka, will take place between sets.

Seating is limited to 220. To purchase tickets, call TheatreZone at 1-888-ZONE-FLA, 1-888-966-3352, visit on-site Box Office Wednesdays from 10 am until 12 noon or purchase tickets online at: www.theatrezone-florida.com.
