MIAMI-Recording star and "Desperate Housewives" resident Vanessa Williams lends her sultry style to an exclusive one-night-only concert Saturday, April 2 at Prelude By Barton G. at The Adrienne Arsht Center for Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County. Earlier, Williams will be special guest artist at the Barton G. Kids Hear Now Gala to be held at The Villa By Barton G.

Vanessa Williams is a former Miss America and starred in the television film of 'Bye, Bye, Birdie.'  She played the part created by Chita Rivera.  She also followed Chita Rivera on Broadway as the star of 'Kiss Of The Spiderwoman.' Williams received a Tony nomination for her peformance as the Witch in the revival of Sondheim's 'Into The Woods.'

Already one of the hottest tickets in town, this very special performance presented by Miami entrepreneur and restaurateur Barton G. Weiss is helping to solidify Prelude By Barton G. as the place not only for pre and post performance meals but also as Miami's "in" venue for some of today's biggest names in entertainment.

Williams' performance comes close on the heels of the success of Prelude's winter parade of high powered stars including Cheyenne Jackson, Gavin Creel, and Sandra Bernhard. It will launch the Spring line-up of Prelude By Barton G. Presents post-performance series which begins Friday & Saturday, April 9 & 10 with Broadway and TV star Bryan Batt. Powerhouse three-time Emmy -winning singer and comedian Wayne Brady appears Friday & Saturday, April 22 & 23 followed by heartthrob actor/singer Taye Diggs Friday & Saturday, April 29th & 30 wrapping up the
premier spring series.

Tickets are $95-$200 with supply extremely limited. A portion of the proceeds goes directly to the Barton G. Kids Hear Now Foundation dedicated to help hearing impaired children transition to a world of sound and life through the use of cochlear implant technology.
