HANDLE WITH CARE At Gulfshore Playhouse $5 Student Tix On November 5th

Gulfshore Playhouse to Offer Special Five Dollar Student Tickets to performance of Southeastern Premiere "Handle with Care"

Gulfshore Playhouse will offer special five dollar student tickets for the November 5th 3 p.m. matinee of the Southeastern Premiere of Handle with Care, a romantic comedy by Jason Odell Williams, running October 27 through November 20.

Handle with Care is the story of Ayelet, an Israeli girl who is dragged by her grandmother on a road trip to America in search of a dream. Despite a botched DHL delivery, an unexpected blizzard, and an ill-equipped translator who is not really cut out for the job, the clues her grandmother deftly leaves behind eventually lead Ayelet to find what she didn't even know she was looking for: her destiny.

Charlotte Cohn, wife of playwright Jason Odell Williams, will star in the production of Handle with Care. Jason will be in residence at The Playhouse throughout the rehearsal and performance process. Geraldine Librandi, Justin Swain and Michael Zlabinger will also be in the production.

Founder and Producing Artistic Director Kristen Coury will direct the production. "I am delighted to be offering a special discount for students. Education is such an important part of our mission, and I remember how affected by live theatre I was when I was in school. It's a way to make learning fun," states Kristen Coury.

"The Immokalee Foundation (TIF) is excited to once again be partnering with Gulfshore Playhouse. This performance is an incredible opportunity for the students of TIF to experience the theatrical arts and is only made possible by proceeds from the 2010 Charity Classic Fund-A-Dream auction and the generosity of The Playhouse," notes Tricia Yeggy, Director of Programs at The Immokalee Foundation.

Interested students can call the Gulfshore Playhouse administrative office at (239) 261- 7529 to purchase tickets for this five dollar student discount.
