The Bay Street Players' Young People's Theatre will present two performances of Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jr. A cast of extremely talented young people, ages 7 to 18, will amaze you as they sing and perform dance numbers with the skill of veteran performers.

Taking place in New York City in 1922, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jr. tells the story of young Millie Dillmount, who has just moved to the city in search of a new life for herself. It's a New York full of intrigue and jazz - a time when women were entering the workforce and the rules of love and social behavior were changing forever.

Directed by Amanda Warren, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jr. will be presented July 2 at 7 PM. All performances will be held at the historic State Theatre located at 109 N. Bay Street in downtown Eustis. Tickets are $10 for adults / $5 for students with ID and can be ordered online at www.baystreeetplayers.org or by calling the Box Office at 352-357-7777. This production is generously sponsored in part by Handex Consulting & Remediation, LLC.

Bay Street Players is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit community theatre celebrating 36 seasons of live theatre in the historic 1922 State Theatre in downtown Eustis.
