From the creators of THE DUMB SHOW comes American Stage's new long-form comedy improvisation show, 321. Gavin Hawk and Ricky Wayne weave all of these elements into a hilarious, amazing and poignant one-act play that is sure to delight the audience.

LET'S MISBEHAVE: AN ADULT CABARET

starring Paul Wilborn and Blue Roses

Susan R. Hough Cabaret Series
April 8 thru 10 at 6 p.m.

All tickets: "Pay-What-You-Can" at the door and $15 in advance.

Paul Wilborn continues his exploration of the best American singers and songwriters, accompanied by his infectious piano stylings, his dry wit and his great band, the Blue Roses, featuring vocalist Eugenie Bondurant. LET'S MISBEHAVE explores the sexy side of the Great American Songbook. You'll hear tunes that spiced up the Broadway stage, the nightclubs, speakeasies, backstreet bars, show tents and bawdy houses of the 1920s, ‘30s, ‘40s and ‘50s. Composers include Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Fats Waller, George Gershwin, Gus Kahn, Walter Donaldson, and Rodgers and Hart, and some legendary cocktail party parodies laced with lyrical lust. THIS SHOW IS RATED R BECAUSE IT'S RACY!

I AM A CUBAN SANDWICH: LOVE LETTERS TO YBOR
by Mary Ellen and Richard DiPietra, directed by James Rayfield
Susan R. Hough Cabaret
April 10 at 7:30 p.m.

All tickets: "Pay-What-You-Can" at the door and $15 in advance.

Take a journey through the physical and cultural life of Ybor City. Not the Ybor of today, with its bar scene and late-night revels, but what Ybor was, before time and Interstate 4 cut through the heart of a very special place. Richard DiPietra, a native of Tampa, has looked back and blended his true remembrances with touches of fiction to create an honest and touching look into the human experience of growing up in a melting pot that simmers with the smell of Spanish bean soup and fresh baked Cuban bread (the kind that has a palm frond on it).

3rd Sunday Comedy and Improv Night
STRANGERS AND FOOLS!
presented by Ricky Wayne
"After Hours" Series
April 17 at 8 p.m.

All tickets: "Pay What You Can" at the door (suggested $5-$15), $15 in advance, drinks at the bar

STRANGERS AND FOOLS' unscripted approach to comedy incorporates audience involvement and suggestions with a variety of unique improv games. Always spontaneous and unpredictable, scenes vary from a murder at the Jersey Shore to the reign of a narcoleptic Dora the Explorer. The team members pride themselves on their commitment to bring clean, family-friendly entertainment.

LAST OF THE NEANDERTHALS
by Christopher Buehlman
Hot Off the Presses play reading series
April 26 at 7 p.m.

All tickets: "Pay What You Can" at the door
Long ago, three Neanderthals discover a pair of slick, free-love practicing Cro-Magnons on their land. Their way of life is soon challenged by these attractive outsiders, who have better tools, looser morals and outstanding cave art. Will these early humans be assimilated or exterminated? And how much physical abuse can a Neanderthal actually endure?
