A modern spin on Hans Christian Anderson's beloved Princess and the Pea, this theatrical adventure follows young Olivia's rise from forest peasant to the throne of Wisendorf. When the old king dies, Prince Xander must find a new queen to rule. Bickering princesses flood the palace to claim the throne. One by one, they fail a series of tests designed to find a princess of true sensitivity. In the icy north, the great witch Titiana gathers her army of Malicious Malcontents with plans to make the kingdom her own. Who is true and who is false? And how can a tiny pea tell them apart? This fresh take on the familiar classic is full of romance and laughter, magic tapestries, palace spies, and lots and lots of mattresses
