Young Frankenstein in Broadway YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN
Arizona Broadway Theatre
It's Alive! Based on the Mel Brooks' 1974 hit comedy film of the same name, Young Frankenstein is scientifically proven, monstrously good entertainment…and the only place you'll witness a singing and dancing laboratory experiment in the largest tuxedo ever made. Young Dr. Frankenstein attempts to complete his grandfather's work and bring a corpse to life. Together with his hunchbacked helper, his curvaceous lab assistant, and his self-involved, madcap fiancee, Frankenstein succeeds, but not without scary and often hilarious complications. This wickedly inspired, sometimes bawdy musical has such memorable tunes as "The Transylvania Mania" and "Puttin' On The Ritz."

Little Red Riding Hood in Broadway LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD
Mesa Arts Center, Nesbitt/Elliott Playhouse
This delightful version of this classic tale brings many new twists and turns to the story. Marie or Little Red is a very studious child and a great story teller. She is a favorite of the village children and very kind to everyone. She is more than happy to take goodies to grandma when she falls ill but in doing so buys up all the items the wolf was hoping to purchase when he came to town. This angers the wolf so he sets off to foil the plans of Marie, a head strong girl who thinks she can take care of herself. In the end, good triumphs over evil and aided by Jean Claude, a woodsman, Jacques a blue parrot and Le Petite Pirate, all ends well. This terrific new version of Little Red Riding Hood, with toe tapping music is not to be missed. It has something for everyone.
