Detour Company Theatre invites all to share in the one-of-a-kind theatrical experience of Disney's The Little Mermaid JR. The production is the latest achievement of Detour and its 13-year legacy of unforgettable performances. The Detour acting troupe is comprised of adults with developmental and other challenges. Twice a year, cast members enthusiastically take to the stage and embrace the magic of theater.

Detour's production of Disney's The Little Mermaid JR. features actors from the Company's cast of more than 45 individuals who, along with their coaches, will tell the classic romance story of the beautiful young mermaid Ariel, who longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. But first, she will need to defy her father King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula and convince Prince Eric that she is the girl with the enchanting voice. The musical features hit songs such as Under the Sea and Part of Your World, performed with the energy and excitement that is entirely unique to Detour.
