Playhouse on the Square to Present CARRIE THE MUSICAL

Carrie White doesn't fit in. At school, the popular students torture her; at home, her religiously fanatical mother terrorizes her. But Carrie's just discovered she's got a special power, and if pushed too far, she's not afraid to use it. Based on the best selling novel, Carrie the Musical spins an epic tale of torment and revenge.

The role of Carrie White is being played by Maggie Robinson (The Rocky Horror Show), a recent University of Memphis graduate; she is making her debut as a member of the Playhouse on the Square Associate Company. Playhouse on the Square Resident Company Member Carla McDonald (Assassins; Mary Poppins) is Margaret White, Carrie's religious zealot mother. Joining them are Associate Company Members Cayley Nicole Smith (Billy Elliot the Musical) as Sue Snell, Isaac Middleton (Mountain View; Billy Elliot the Musical) as Tommy Ross, Brooke Papritz (Billy Elliot the Musical) as Chris Hargensen, and Dane Van Brocklin (Billy Elliot the Musical) as Billy Nolan.
