Tennessee Shakespeare Company, the Mid-South's professional classical theatre, features award-winning Broadway stars Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley in performance for its Fourth Annual Valentine's Gala on Friday, February 8, 2013, at 6:00 pm at Germantown Performing Arts Centre.

Flying to Memphis direct from their sold-out concert at New York's Lincoln Center as the featured performers in TSC's benefit show, Ms. Mazzie and Mr. Danieley are real-life valentines. The married couple most recently performed together on Broadway in the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical NEXT TO NORMAL.

The event also includes a pre-show lobby reception of sumptuous fare, exclusive live and silent auctions, a post-show dessert reception and photographs with the stars, and the final drawing for TSC's New York City Luxury Broadway trip.

Marin Mazzie is a three-time Tony Award nominee and multiple-time Award winner for her recent star turns on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and London's West End in NEXT TO NORMAL, KISS ME, KATE, CARRIE (THE MUSICAL), MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT, RAGTIME, PASSION, MAN OF LA MANCHA, INTO THE WOODS, BIG RIVER, and KISMET. Her TV appearances include STILL STANDING (CBS), WITHOUT A TRACE, NUMB3RS, JAKE IN PROGRESS, STACKED, PRYOR OFFENSES, and ONE LIFE TO LIVE.

Jason Danieley is a multiple-time New York stage Award winner and nominee for creating starring roles on Broadway and in the West End in the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical NEXT TO NORMAL, CURTAINS, and THE FULL MONTY. He made his Broadway debut as CANDIDE, directed by theatre legend Hal Prince, and is a frequent guest of NY's highly acclaimed City Center Encores! Series.

Featured on over 20 albums between them, Marin and Jason have performed their cabaret concerts HE SAID/SHE SAID and OPPOSITE YOU at The Cafe Carlyle, Feinstein's at the Loews Regency, Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub, the Cinegrill, and numerous other venues nationally.

Over 500 guests are expected to attend TSC's benefit Gala. The evening, produced by TSC's Board of Directors and Co-Chaired by Blanche Deaderick and Margaret Wellford Tabor, is projected to earn more than $100,000 for Tennessee Shakespeare Company's education and performance programs.

The Live Auction will include several exclusive items, including a one-week stay in a condo in Maine and a one-week stay on sunny, secluded Cumberland Island off the coast of Georgia. The Silent Auction will include over 100 items, including hotel accommodations, jewelry, dinner packages, and artwork.
