Penobscot Theatre Company is now registering youths aged 4-15 for its upcoming Dramatic Academy spring production of FANTASTIC MR. FOX. Classes will begin March 22nd and run every Tuesday and Thursday until May 12th. The students will perform Fantastic Mr. Fox at the historic Bangor Opera House on May 13, 14 and 15. Registration will close March 24.

Mr. Fox, an unredeemable thief, takes on farmers Boggis, Bunce and Bean in this beloved Roald Dahl tale. The farmers are no match for Mr. Fox who devises an elaborate plan to sustain his family and all of his friends. At every mischievous turn, Mr. Fox outwits, out-plans and overcomes the farmers' ploys, triumphing as only a fantastic fox can.

"FANTASTIC MR. FOX is such a joyous way for us to end this Dramatic Academy season!" said Amy Roeder, Penobscot Theatre Company's director of education. "This script offers so many interesting roles for student actors and we are thrilled to present yet another iconic Roald Dahl story."

FANTASTIC MR. FOX was adapted from the book by Roald Dahl by David Wood and is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. Fox follows the dynamic productions of Harriet the Spy and Shuddersome: Tales of Poe earlier in the season.
