Rotary International invites all to join them and the Ogunquit Playhouse in the fight to eradicate Polio worldwide by purchasing a ticket to ALWAYS, PATSY CLINE, on "Rotary Night," tonight, May 31, at the Ogunquit Playhouse. For every ticket sold that evening, the Ogunquit Playhouse will donate a portion to the York Rotary Club. This year's goal is to raise over $5,000 to support Rotary International's goal of eliminating worldwide polio.

Rotary International has played a major role in helping to stop the transmission of polio. It has been a spearheading partner in the Global Polio Eradication Initiative since 1988, along with WHO, UNICEF, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The Bill & MeLinda Gates Foundation is also a key supporter of the initiative.

"The Ogunquit Playhouse is proud to support the fight against polio with our 4th annual Rotary Night," said Bradford Kenney, Executive Artistic Director of the Ogunquit Playhouse. "We are looking forward to welcoming the community to our historic theater for a night of laughter, love and music to support an important cause."

"Rotary Night" at the Ogunquit Playhouse begins at 7p.m. with hors d'oeuvres provided by York Hospital in the Gazebo Garden tent, followed by a performance of ALWAYS, PATSY CLINE at 8PM, the inspirational and funny tribute to country music mega-star Patsy Cline as told through the letters of her friend Louise Seger, portrayed by Emmy Award winning actress Sally Struthers. Crazy, I Fall to Pieces, Sweet Dreams and Walking After Midnight are just a few of the 27 featured songs.

Tickets start at $39 per person. To order tickets call The Playhouse Box Office at 207.646.5511 or visit Ogunquitplayhouse.org.
